COVID-19 Coronavirus update from Jumar Solutions
Last updated 28th May 2020
Jumar continues to operate a ‘business as usual’ approach during the disruption surrounding the COVID-19 coronavirus.
We are pleased to have been able to offer a normal service, with staff working safely from home – and this will continue for the foreseeable future.
In recent weeks, we have carried out a number of risk assessments, and formed a working party to analyse the challenges involved in a phased re-opening of our offices. Given our success in delivering services with staff working remotely, we have taken the decision not to re-open our premises at the moment, and will review the situation mid-June.
Should it be appropriate and feasible to begin a phased return to our premises, then this will form part of a strategy to be formulated by our Covid-19 working party.
It is expected that we will not be allowing visitors to our sites in the initial stages of this plan, but this will be reviewed periodically.
Should any of our staff be required to visit a client site, we will ensure that they follow local regulations and precautions, and take any further additional measures considered appropriate to protect them and our clients. Video call or phone call remains our preferred method of contact.
We would like to thank our clients, staff, partners, contractors, suppliers and associates for their support over recent months, and would take this opportunity to stress that it is business as usual, and we can be contacted in the usual way.
We have upgraded our phone system to allow even greater flexibility in handling external calls.
While all our staff are working from home, our switchboard numbers remain active, and are now more easily diverted to individual members of staff.
Please continue to use the 0121 788 4550 or 0161 549 0050 numbers as normal – or, preferably, the mobile number of your designated Jumar contact.
As a certified Microsoft Development Partner, our default method of online communication is Microsoft Teams, as this provides a secure collaboration portal for both internal and external parties during these unprecedented times. While we are happy to use your preferred video/audio conferencing solution where you have set up the meeting, any such meetings organised by Jumar will use the Microsoft platform.
If, for whatever reason, you are having difficulty contacting an individual member of staff, please try the switchboard number, where we will be able to assist you, or provide you with an alternative number.
Please note that we are increasing our use of recruitment-focused video interviewing platforms at this time, to eliminate the need for face-to-face meetings between candidates, ourselves and our clients.
We hope you will notice no significant difference when dealing with us.
The Jumar Senior Management Team is holding regular update calls internally to ensure there is no impact on projects, recruitment initiatives, deliverables and milestones and, we are – as ever – always available to discuss any aspect of our service to you.
This page will be updated with further information, should advice from the Government be updated.
